Welcome to the Larocque Files
Hello
and welcome to the LaRocque Files. My name is
Joey LaRocque. This will be a column where I
bring up current events and maybe start some
rumors in Slam All-Star Wrestling!

August
9th 2006
Well the talk all over the Green Mountain state
and New England is that S.A.W.'s "August
Extravaganza" is shaping up to be one of the
most historical cards ever in the company's
history. Let's talk about the 3 matches
highlighted on the main page.

S.A.W.
Heavyweight Championship
2 out of 3 falls, with each
fall having a different stipulation
"Bad Religion" Maxx Burton v. Drake
Evans(c)
After Drake Evans regained the Heavyweight title
at "Franklin County Face Off," Maxx
Burton was immediately on the phone with S.A.W.
officials, desperately trying to get a re-match
with Drake. It's rumored that Burton threatened
to quit the company altogether if he did not get
this match. The officials assured Maxx they would
not allow it to come to that. Drake Evans was
notified of this and said Burton could have the
match if he accepted the champion's terms which
was 2 out of 3 falls with each fall to have a
different stipulation. Both parties were given
the opportunity to name the stipulations. Evan's
opted fall number 1 and chose "Falls Count
Anywhere." Burton opted fall number 2 and
chose "Submission Rules." Should the
match go for 3 falls, the owner of S.A.W.,
Gladimir Winchester III, chose the third
stipulation which was "Last Man
Standing." In this match, after a pin fall
the wrestler must answer a 10 count. If he
doesn't, he loses. All parties agreed to the
terms and the match was signed.

S.A.W.
Television Championship
Flexer
on a Pole Match
Michael Monroe v. Franz Roddy(c) w/ HanzAfter
countless confrontations, Michael Monroe and
Franz Roddy have been on a collision course as of
late. Monroe, one of the most decorated athletes
in the company, stands as the biggest threat to
Franz Roddy's title reign and undefeated streak.
Roddy has made it a point to interfere in many of
Monroe's matches recently, including causing
Monroe to lose to Drake Evans at "Franklin
County Face Off" in the fatal 4-way match
for the Heavyweight title. Mr. Winchester took to
action and signed this match for the TV title
with the stipulation of putting Franz's favorite
work out equipment, the flexer, on a pole. First
man to grab it can use it.

S.A.W. Women's
Championship
Bunkhouse
Brawl
"The
Dutchess of Dominatrix" Demonica v.
"The Denim-Clad Hellcat" Alexzandra(c)
Former
2-time Women's Champion, Demonica had stated
publically that Alexzandra was ducking her and
denying her a shot at the title. Alexzandra
answered with the retort of a challenge to a
"Bunkhouse Brawl." No rules, no DQ,
weapons not only allowed but encouraged. These 2
women have met before in hardcore matches. They
are the first women to fight No Holds Barred in
S.A.W. and they plan to show why each of them has
a strong claim to being the Queen of Vermont
Wrestling and S.A.W. Women's Champion.
Many
more matches are in the process of being signed.
We'll keep you all posted on those happenings as
they develop. Coming soon, histories on the
participants in these matches and interviews with
S.A.W. stars.

LaRocque reporting.
